Thanks to Karen James from Cloud VA for taking part in this weeks “How I use Internet Marketing” post.

More about me:

I’ve worked in secretarial jobs for 25 years with a leaning towards medical secretarial. I also did a business management degree at 32 and have worked as a marketing coordinator for a small pub chain and an hr administrator for a group of care homes.

Redundancy led me into virtual assistance 6 years ago which I have been doing part-time for 5 years but in the last year have been trying to build up to full-time.

I am a sole trader who has provided assistance to a variety of companies including: accountants, hr consultants, GP, social enterprise company, chartered secretary, copywriter, online business networking site, author, immigration judge, video production company etc.

My most popular service is audio transcription.

The types of Internet Marketing I use for my business are:

I use Twitter, Facebook and Linkedin.

I have a blog and write about:

Things I think will be useful to business owners.

I use forums such as:

Society of Virtual Assistants – www.societyofvirtualassistants.com

My favourite form of Internet Marketing is:

I like Twitter but I think it’s important to integrate the three things I’ve mentioned above without just repeating the same thing on each one

My best performing Internet Marketing strategy:

I haven’t had any sales from any of them yet but I am still learning how to use them.

My Internet Marketing plans for the future are:

Learning more about FB, Twitter and Linkedin and writing blog posts on a more regular basis.
